Little education please?
I thought these just came out pretty recently. But I see initials and 2003...

What's it like using the cigar holder. I've always considered the tactile experience of holding the cigar in the fingers and mouth to be a big part of the experience, so I'm curious. Do you perceive any change in terms of flavor or aroma? It's a beautiful meerschaum piece, too!
I prefer a cigar without the holder; the holder makes it fiddly but I don’t notice a difference in taste as long as the holder is clean.

I am using the holders to see how a Meerschaum colors when there are no ashes and carbon blocking the inside surface like it happens in a pipe.

My extremely fascination with Meerschaum coloring adds to the cigar smoking experience even though it is a little fiddly.

Finally get to have a cigar! Pulled out this La Aroma de Cuba Mi Amor Reserva that's been sitting around since 2014 - 2015. Held up pretty well, though it's mellowed a bit. Woody, coffee with lots of brown sugar and a musty basement every now and then. Burn is a little wonky, but no touch ups yet.
