Just finished an 8 5 8 Natural outside on a beautiful, almost tropically sticky, overcast day. There's a nice cool breeze periodically. I'm very tempted to light a second.

My First Pan Caliente Robusto I’ve had the Hot Cakes Laguito. Too soon maybe, but I think I like the PC better than the HC It could also be the size / ring gauge. (I know, …that’s what she said)

It’s decent, that batch is the 5 1/2 x 52 box pressed. It’s earthy with some leather and a light spice. each size is a different blend so you never really know what your gonna get. These come out of the Oliva factory and they roll for a lot of different brand.

Just got back from my San Diego trip (anyone have leads on jobs down there?). Found a really nice cigar shop called Churchill's (how many shops have that name or some variation?) in Old Town. I smoked an exquisite LFD Coronado I bought from them while driving through the boring ass central valley. Tonight is a MF La Antiguedad that I picked up from a shop in LA (SFV) called Fat Stogies. That shop was pretty cool, too, and the gentleman working there was very nice. I was kind of hoping to stop by Small Batch, since I remember reading you could buy from them in-person, but when I checked their website, there was no mention of it. Maybe a Covid thing, I don't know.
The last of my box of Partagas Shorts, with at least four or five years on it. Was wonderful!
Tatuaje Tuxtla, 7th. First one I’ve had. Very interesting, great burn , good transitions, complex flavors.
