Tonight my bedtime smoke is the Peruvian Puro Volute. Swung into my local shop and the guys said I should try it, they also pointed out about five more sticks I "should try". I left with 3.

An original release, I think 2011 H. Upmann Half Corona. After 11 years of aging this was a pretty potent cigar with great Upmann flavors. Went through a newer box years ago and thought they were good, but this box is a lot better.

Not sure that's an opus - I've never seen one without the (in)famous X band, except special one-offs people got from the factory. Could it be the Unnamed Reserve? If so, you are a lucky man as they're very hard to find.

It is indeed an Unnamed Reserve. My local still has half the box left, but no other Opux X unfortunately. The inside of the lid has 'Sin Nombre' or 'Without a Name' written stylistically, I really liked it haha. The cellophane bears the print 'ProducXion 2016'.

Cigar Clowns "the Ronald" from A.J. Fernandez. I picked this up at the urging of the owner of my B&M.
I'm looking like a shill for these limited releases but I'm blaming the guys at the local store. I went back last night and picked up a fiver of those Volute cigars before they were gone and snagged this. I'm really glad I had a chance to try both.

Didn’t have high expectations going into this one for whatever reason, but I am thoroughly enjoying it. I’m a big fan of a couple of Alec Bradley cigars and it’s nice to see another one that delivers.
