This dog does whatever he wants to do within limits of sight and hearing. I guess that's what happens when you make it to 18 & a half years of age. Fantastic morning, fantastic cigar that dropped ash twice before I nubbed it.
While doing battle with Insomnia the Sleep Monster last night I headed out back and fired up a Perdomo Small Batch 2005 Maduro. Man was that a satisfying smoke.
I find a little nicotine in the stream is often helpful on occasions when I can't fall and stay asleep.
Partagas Black Label, wind out the North, watching faroff cane being cut, mills slowing down and cutting is slow, praying for no freezes as that can hurt the crop. Farmers Almanac says warmer than normal winter, HaH!
Smoked an old cigar that I cut in half and had in ashtray forever, tired from watching election last night, didn’t feel I could do a good cigar justice, pleasant weather, cigar was so so, matched my mood!
I had a CAO America on the golf course yesterday with the guys. I thought it was a fitting smoke for election day, and even more fitting for the first half of the smoke when it had a slight plug and was difficult to smoke. Just like our country, my cigar had problems. Straightened out in the end though. Hopefully thats a sign of things to come.
