Two at the moment. Desolation Angels by Jack Kerouac, and Jim Rearden’s book on Frank Glaser called Alaska’s Wolf Man. Mr. Glaser was one hardy dude.

Collected poems of Robert Bly who was a poet long before the Iron John book and his mens' movement activities. I've always liked his work, and he's not so much liked mine, but some amazing efforts here, one of my favorites, "Teeth Mother Naked At Last."
MSO, are you a writer? I've always enjoyed Bly's poetry, and Iron John was influential for me when I was younger.
Right now I'm reading Julie Rose's translation of Hugo's Les Miserables.

I was reading this earlier while sitting on the throne. I know, it's not a book...still pretty interesting.

I have bought this book for years, but finally got to it now - quite frankly I am sad I didn't read it earlier, it's quite a laugh - Jaroslav Hasek - The brave soldier Svejk in the World War

@madox07. I read that book about 20 years ago and it's a cracker; it's probably about time I re-read it!

Hawke by Ted Bell. I've read a couple of the other books in this series so I am a little out of order. Good reads.
shermnatman, I have always enjoyed the Bond novels/movies. I have most of them including the post Fleming stuff. I think I even have duplicates of some of the John Gardner books. I'll send you some if they are ones you haven't read, if you want them.

This is from 2013, haven't heard of it before. It's very good,an apocalyptic story, very well done. I'll definitely have to read some more Peter Heller.
