What Art Do You Make?

I've never been talented with any type of visual artistry but I picked up the guitar a couple of decades ago and that allows me to express my creative side. I did recently pick up a nicer camera and have been trying to mess around learning to use it so hopefully that will be another creative outlet soon.

I also enjoy making stuff like this, although nowhere near as elaborate and beautiful as yours. Most recently made a bar for our cabin out of a nice birch slab, and some leftover plywood, pine paneling, and trim:

Sam Maloof is a hero of mine. I've actually referred to having the original germ of this design idea as my 'Maloof Moment'.

If you mean 'art' as a compliment, I will take it as such. Art vs craft is a discussion I've grown weary of.

It's a compliment. There is no art without craft, but not all craft is art. You're an artist. You will just have to learn to live that down.

Easy when I was younger. Don't have that "start/stop" control at this point in time. I feel fortunate if the last letter isn't printed on my pants leg.

Chill, if I could make furniture like that ... if I could make furniture at all ... I'd be insufferably proud of myself. That is a legacy to the world. Same for steve's guitars, brad's drawings, etc. Great.
