Mentioned before, but this is a solid 5, I loved it. A very satisfying ending (and unlike the book). Music was also done well. Jackie Wilson's "Whats Done In The Dark" for the closing credits.
My 5th or 6th time cherrypicking episodes of Shoresy. I really liked Letterkenny (3.75/5), but the spinoff, Shoresy is one of my favorite shows ever. 7/5.
Just watched the latest episode of LANDMAN and it just keeps getting better and better. 
Rewatching River, a British police drama with a healthy dose of psychosis. Stellan Skarsgård is terrific as the main character, and Nicola Walker is amazing as usual.
Watching the Harry Pothead films with the family these days. 3/5.
Good world building but really not credible villains and incompetent heroes. Everything solved by Deux Ex Machina. Very predictable and can be summed in "Harry Pothead is the Special One". No plot twists.

When I was a kid and Wizard of Oz came on, I would plan for days to watch it. Back then it came on one time per year (as I remember it) and I would plan and prepare for watching it. Then..... when it was over, I was bummed out and sad for days cause I knew it would be a year before I it again.
Yeah, I was a bit of a weird kid.....
Just watched Juror #2 on Max, Clint Eastwood's brilliantly directed film about a murder trial, with a juror who, for personal reasons, finds himself involved in swaying the deliberations. Like many of Eastwood's later films it is a thoughtful, painful, and intimate essay on personal character and the conflicting forces that shape one's actions, along the way questioning the nature of "justice".
If you never heard of it, it's because Warner released it only in a handful of theaters for a few weeks before pulling it, rather than spending the money to put it into release. Why? Probably because Eastwood's films are not generally mega dollar hits, though they are profitable. It certainly isn't because Juror #2 isn't a masterfully told story.
Juror #2 got rapturous reviews, which meant nothing to the bean counters who need to find ways to pay down the enormous debt caused by the "merger" of Warner Bros with Discovery.
A beautiful film, well worth your time.

PEOPLE OF EARTH. A two season comedy from 2016-17 about a group of people who have been abducted by aliens. Good characters and a lot of laughs. Featuring a little "gray" with an attitude named Jeff. 4/5

I’m about 3/4 of the way through The Mandalorian. Great visuals but each episode seems like it was written as a level of a video game.
Go to some other planet and meet someone. Get something from them and take it to the altar of DoDah on the planet Zontar. Fight off the underlings until the boss monster shows up at the end.
I like the original Star Wars movies but Mandalorian lacks the spark of them. A lot of potential squandered by amateurish writing IMO. 3/5.

Finishing Dune Propechy season 1. Watch it for Travis Fimmel and Emily Watson terrific performance. A good first season. A little action, more drama kind of series. Hoping the season 2 will be better.
Agreed. It’s a very good series and I think it got picked up for a second season.
Last year I watched Silo on Apple TV. Second season is out now and yesterday I binged all the ones released to date and I’m excited to watch the rest as they drop. I loved the books and this is a great interpretation of them.
