We had never seen Doctor Zhivago. The first hour was a little tough, but I can see why it received the accolades/awards. (Although apparently critics were tough on it at the time of release).
Guess I'll have to read the book.

It's been several years since I've seen Dr. Zhivago. I enjoyed it and remember it being quite long.

After watching the trailer...I want to watch it again.

Here's a screen shot of a tobacco shop in the trailer...if you blink, you'll miss it.

Joe Pera Talks With You. One of the most brilliant, honest, folksy, kindhearted, dry, slightly absurdist, with a sprinkle of Andy Kaufman comedy series. Seasons 1&2 are streaming on Adult Swim and HBO Max. Won’t be for everyone, but I recommend it enough.

Here’s Joe Pera’s standup on Conan:

I just sprang for a year of Disney+. I have been wanting to watch The Mandalorian and other Star Wars related stuff. I am in to S1 E5. Thus far, I would rate it 5/5 for this genre.
You’re in for a treat. Season 2 was even better than the already excellent season 1. Lots of Star Wars deep dive inside baseball references if your to that thing.

Right now, Bubble Guppies.

It’s about a 7-8 season series illustrating the various challenges faced by a group of seemingly parentless, culturally diverse students in a semi-surreal environment and they’re learning to navigate these difficulties from their teacher who comes from a typically marginalized demographic.

It’s honestly one of those shows that’s so powerful, I’m positive that even young children could learn a lesson, or two, by watching it.

We are watching a series on Prime called Fortitude. Pretty bizarre. A small Arctic town under Norwegian rule is beset by a pre-historic sort of plague. Its getting kind of "Lost-like" but, we're in too deep now. lol

I saw both movie motorcycles at a museum in NY (Motorpedia MC Museum, outstanding). The Billy Bike was lost, so that was a recreation. The history of these movie choppers is pretty controversial.

Thanks for the link, that was a really interesting piece on an iconic bike.

Cheers, mate?
