Since many assumed it was tobacco, and not the actual pipe, I've broadened the title.

I bought myself a Savinelli St. Nicholas 2023. I wrapped it and put it under the tree. That lasted about a week.
I opened it.
The stain really shows it's reds in sunlight.

Hah! Same thing always happens to me. BEAUTIFUL pipe! My local tobacconist had the whole series in stock and might get one tomorrow as an early Christmas gift to myself! That stain is a night and day difference in the sunlight both ways, a beautiful pipe!
