Daily Festivities and Smokes - was range day today, and on getting back home, found out I'd been given some bananas. Looks like the beginning of my cleanup will have to wait until tomorrow. Out of jars, so I'm going to dry the bananas with whatever is leftover worth salvaging from the half box of crabs on the floor in front of me at the kitchen table. C'est la vie. Will make a good muffin mix, in any case.

Responding to @bobpnm's post featuring a tin of SWR, so am currently chomping on my MM Minicob filled with SWR. Precient post. Thanks Bob!

Besides the usual cheap cigars, last night's featured smoke was a most excellent one. Went to my best sipping pipe, the Little Pete, and enjoyed some solo peace and quiet listening to some Gregorian Chant, accompanied by the wonderful ambience of H&H Magnum Opus. Have two tins of this stellar stuff stashed away. Wish I had ten.

But I do have about 10 ounces of Arango Balkan Supreme, another excellent Balkan, so I might do a Re-Pete on the same Pete tonight. Will probably move on to the Ars Nova for a listening to some Perotin settings of the 13th Century Liturgy.

Unless someone shows up, Then Perotin will be put on hold and something more social implemented! :ROFLMAO: Pipe'll and baccy will have to change, too!

Port Guardian again this evening. Slight difference this time, I dried a few flakes for about 24 hours. It does change the flavor profile, a bit more subtle, a bit more grassy, with similar spice notes but turned down. I think I prefer it a bit more fresh out of the tin but time will tell. Peterson Donegal Rocky 69 which I've been leaning on while exploring this tobacco.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, cod and sugar snap peas dinner with a small bowl of vanilla bean ice cream for dessert. I'm part way through this bowl of Silent beta test in a medium bend fumed tan crackled year 2020 Ahmet Govem reverse calabash meerschaum with a military mount silver band and black acrylic stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. Going to clean the pipes I smoked today.

Had never tried 3 Nuns before. A friend bought a tin and didn't like it, so he sent most of it home with me. He's been smoking a pipe as long as I've been alive and loved the original blend. I have never tried any of them, so I am giving it a fair shake since I don't have anything to compare it to.

I smoked a bowl in this gourd calabash that the wife got me for my birthday.

So far after only one bowl to go on, I like it.

3 Nuns is one of the blends that has always stayed in my rotation along with Hal O The Wynd.

Well I did do a second tamp this morning, then backed the tractor in across the whole floor and tamped out the tread marks... Done with that! Implements in before the rains. Will put some siding up (reclaimed fence boards I have which have been taking up space waiting for just this project) in the next week or two, I reckon.

Part way through this bowl of year 2019 Ascanian No. 1 in a straight smooth dark brown 1930s (Comoy’s) The Exmoor Pipe 283 chubby Rhodesian with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Twenty minutes ago, I heard rain and hail hit the deck roof. I ran out, picked up Daisy the Feral Princess to bring her in, and a second after that, Tomato the Brave and Harry the Hairy came out from under the deck, and they scurried in as fast as they were able. I put out Daisy's favorite blanket for her to lay on the couch. Tomato the Brave is laying by my feet. From my chair, I can't see where Harry went to. Sleepy Suzy is by my side. Molly Danger is snoozin' in the bedroom.

A third of the way through this bowl of year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a 1984 medium bend black grain etched Savinelli Non Pareil 9310 pokerish dublin with a horn ferrule and a black vulcanite flared stem. Harry the Hairy's walking around the den. Tomato the Brave wanted wet food, but it wasn't time for it, and I didn't want Harry to drive us crazy because of it. The rain stopped, so Tomato wanted out. Daisy the Feral Princess is still on the couch.
