Smoked a bowl of year 2019 Seattle Pipe Club Deception Pass plug in a smooth straight brown late 1930s Linkman’s Dr. Grabow Deluxe Bruyere 9703B pot with a nickel accent and a black tapered vulcanite stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. Couldn't post earlier as you'll see why below the pipe pic.

Today's bowl was Savinelli 140th Anniversary in a Stefano rhodesian, with a beer, as wifey did her nails. The experience made me feel so...domesticated? It would now seem that my next order of business will be to invest in a good Thesaurus. 9/10

Bird report: California scrub-jay, House finch, California towhee, American crow, Red-tailed hawk, Mountain chickadee, Northern flicker, Hairy woodpecker, California quail, Steller's jay, White-breasted nuthatch, Eurasian collared-dove, Band-tailed pigeon, and Western bluebird.

A blessedly quiet Sabbath, although my 80 point Scrabble loss to wifey certainly threatened to upend an otherwise tranquil Shabbat.

With Savinelli's sesquicentennial (no need for a Thesaurus anymore, I guess) fast approaching, I can't help wondering what they might have planned... Anyone know of some good scuttlebutt?
