Half way through this bowl of year 2002 Reiner Long Golden Flake in a smooth dark brown quarter bend 1950s Comoy’s Blue Riband 187 yachtsman with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Tomato the Brave came in eat, and is still at it.

OJK Brown label has recently become one of my goto blends. So in my latest tobacco order (which arrived today) I decided to give the Blue label a go. So I loaded a bowl on my Stanwell POTY 2024 and so far I dig it, just not as much as the brown label. But the real test will be having it with my morning cup of coffee, when I appreciate burleys most.

Hope you all had a great day!

Now smoking KBV Verge Engine Santa Drive 2023 in a 1978 Peterson Deluxe 20S medium bend smooth dark brown billiard with a silver cap military mount black vulcanite saddle p-lip stem. Tomato the Brave was bored, and I started throwing fuzzy catnip balls at him. What he didn't catch in mid-air, he chased and batted around the den and kitchen. After about fifteen minutes, he lost interest, grabbed a catnip sock, bit and bunny kicked it for a few minutes. Then, he just laid there looking at me. I got some cat Jingle bell balls and rolled them one by one past him as they went down the hall. Tomato chased them every time, and batted them around. Each time he came back to me, I rolled another one down the hall. This went on for over ten minutes. Finally, Tomato wore out and wanted outside. Guess I'll have to try this with Harry the Hairy.

The last of a tin of 2024 Sun Bear Black Locust in a natural finish Anima pipe with a honey pot rustication. This pipe has never been smoked by me and it looks like it was only smoked once after I got it as an estate. I will dedicate this to Sun Bear or honey cased tobaccos. It sure tastes good for not even being broken in and the molded stem is pretty comfortable. What a great pipe.

I’ve been too busy for almost a week to post, so I’ll hopefully have some time to post more again and catch up on WAYS during the tail end of summer.

Did a little low calorie snacking, and am smoking year 2014 Full Virginia Flake in a slight bend 1968 group 4S Dunhill Shell 475 cherrywood with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Sleepy Suzy is still by my side. As soon as Molly Danger finishes her meal, I'll take her to the bed room so I can let Harry the Hairy in to eat. I'm reading baseball box scores.

Last smoke of the day is 1970s Heine's Blend in a cheap, but effective, undated, unbranded slight bent smooth dark brown short shank Made in France Los Alton VBF billiard with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Couldn't post my earlier smokes due to getting a "Gateway Error" message. Things are still moving slow here.

Tomato the Brave woke up in time for his wet food. He must have an interior time clock. He's back on the couch now. I fed Daisy the Feral Princess and Harry the Hairy outside.

Barely slept, so I got out of bed and am smoking year 2018 D&R Windsail in a 2018 full bend smooth natural Peterson Sherlock Holmes Lestrade with a silver band and a black vulcanite saddle p-lip stem. Before I went to bed, Daisy the Feral Princess wanted in. I thought she wanted to eat, but she wanted my attention. We played a little, she got lots of back rubs and scratching. A couple of times when I stopped, Daisy meowed at me like, "That's it? That's all you give the Imperial Feral Princess?" I gave in, but finally got her settled down by the time I finished my last smoke. When I gave up trying to sleep, Daisy was waiting to go out, and I put dry food down so she could. I'm going to do a little reading.
