Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am smoking year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Gold Star Hawaiian Kona Extra Fancy Dark Roast, neat, is my drink. Watching the Mets-Tigers game until the Orioles-Padres game starts. Sleepy Suzy is by my side. Harry the Hairy is snoozin' by my feet. Going to clean a few pipes.

Now smoking year 2019 C&D Yorktown in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Terracotta 4AB No.108/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem.


Didn't clean pipes because Harry the Hairy woke up and jumped on the arm of my chair to be nearer to me. At first, it didn't bother Sleepy Suzy, but when it did, she let us know it, and Harry jumped off the floor to the chair. Suzy took his spot for territorial reasons and gave me that "Why'd you let that hairy fella on my chair?" look. Right after that, Harry jumped on my lap for about ten minutes before Suzy gave him a low "ggrrr" and Harry decided that he wanted to go out. Who sez that I don't have children?

Boy, Jim, you have nailed those cat's expressions and "probably" what they are thinking.
I know that we have no idea how their minds work, but as expressive as they are, it's fun to "suppose."

Now smoking the last of my stash of unreleased 2021 Sutliff VaPer in a mid-2000 decade Tom Eltang straight black sand blasted canted AJ Dublin with a cream and brown horn ferrule, and a tapered black acrylic stem. Somewhere, I have a mylar bag of this in plug form. Watching the Orioles hand it to the Padres with three consecutive home runs in the 3rd inning.

I have not cube cut and dried out any Peterson Triple P in a while, so I prepared some and had it in this little unknown pipe. No markings on it. Looks similar to a Marxman in it's carving but not sure what it is or the style. It is a good little smoker and feels good in the hand.

Yesterday: a sample of Squadron Leader sent by former member FalconForever, in a Falcon Dover and lit with a Falcon Nimrod lighter, both purchased from the same member. I purchased his Falcon collection in March, but the lighters and tobaccos were hand carried to the US and arrived yesterday

So far today, minus the cob earlier, I have smoked each one of these pipes, all filled with ‘16 G.L. Pease Triple Play. Currently working through the Carroll of Carrollton, for which I cut the plug very finely, almost a shag. I did cube cuts for the Emerald rusticated 106 and the St Paddy’s Day 53. The Junior lovat got 1.5 medium square flakes folded up into it. The 304 system spigot got some flakes, rubbed out, that I cut about 2-3mm wide. Just having fun! In other pipe activity news, I have some chunks of freshly-harvested mesquite that I am letting dry out in the shed…

Not far from finishing this bowl of Peretti Royal in a black sandblasted medium bend 2013 Mark Tinsky Coral 5 cherrywood with a smooth dark brown shank and bottom with a tapered black briar accented acrylic stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Near the first third of this bowl of year 2013 Capstan Gold Flake in a straight black 1932 Dunhill R double patent shell pot with a vernon tenon and a tapered black vulcanite stem. Fed the ferals without trouble.

Aladino Classic Corona, had a busy tail end of the day and needed a really good smoke. I was gonna switch it up and smoke a pipe but I been hooked on these cigars. It's smoking wonderful.
