Love your photo - the inclusion of the wooden branch (?) mimicking the curve of the pipestem is just super! Thanks for the inspiration. Don't have an original bone in my body but I'll be using this technique if I find an appropriate prop. 🙃

Beautiful and unique pipe. Wish we could have an in house and in person seminar in pipe styles and history from you and a few other experts on the subject - I'd buy my ticket now and be there in person. Thanks for posting this gem - seen it before but I guess I might be increasing my awareness at the present time.

You seem to be on a roll, Bob. This pipe has EVERYTHING I like in a pipe - shape aesthetics, tastefully conceived curve, Military mount, fantastic rustication, lots of wood and medium bowl . . . . oh my! Gotta do the daily Kewpie on this one! :) 👍👍
I would like to thank my mom and dad, my wife, and all of my fellow forum members. It’s an honor just to be nominated. To win the daily Kewpie is something I never imagined. It’s all the beautiful pipe. I’m just along for the ride. 🥂

Two of my anachronistic hobbies… Listening to vinyl and smoking a pipe

Now smoking Ravenwood Three Farthing Stone in a Scottie Piersel Pencil Shank Footlong

Unfortunately the pictures don’t do justice to the beauty of the Scottie pipe but this would have to do today.

Love the pipe! I just had an anachronistic moment last week - bought myself a vintage CD player and old amplifier and a pair of Polk Audio speakers for a retro-stereo experience in my living room. Will post the whole shebang when I get it set up. If you're into that kind of thing (and obviously are), thought you'd get a kick out of my own retro bent! Salut!

PS - was heavily into vinyl until a few years ago until a friend made me an offer I couldn't refuse - he fixed my truck while I was still able to drive prior to it being finally stolen - then came the hernia stuff and driving is all finished now. May make him a return offer to fix it (or buy it) again for an old vinyl collection and retro discs! :ROFLMAO:

It's a new addition, which is why you haven't seen it around much until lately. I, too, typically like rustication or at least a blast, but this one and the recent Castello Collection just caught my eye. Both feel great in the hand and smoke like champs.

Well, i finally got to exploring the OJK range and enjoyed a bowl of the blue label in an SMS this fine, warm Houston afternoon. This would make for a great morning smoke with coffee. Nice burley right here.

I love OJK & OJK Blue. Both are awesome.
