Jarred up the ounce and a half of the relatively intact Dark Twist rolls I grabbed on my travels and having a smoke of the mini-tin of shake that was at the bottom of the 8yo B&M bulk bag in the blasted J07.

Our flight from Charlotte was very smooth,only a bit of weather in Frankfurt. It is good to be home. Slept two hours on my Couch which did me good.

Mario Pascucci -P Rust-2136 (horn ring), smoking Maverick – Golden Gate (a C&D sub-brand) — a classic blend of Red and Lemon Virginias with Basma and Izmir, cut as Broken Flake. The taste is smooth and natural, the Virginia sweetness balanced by the spicy, fragrant Orientals. Strength is on the lighter side (2 out of 5), it smokes cool and even, with no harshness at all. This blend isn’t very common these days, mostly found as old stock, so it was a real pleasure to revisit it.

The River Boat Gambler inthe Castello 55 was great,so now some Gambler in the JT Cooke Dublin,and I'll see how that goes.This Cooke has never been really broken in properly. Hopefully River Boat Gambler will fix that.

Man, I was so happy to see Francisco Alvarez hit that homer.
I love the dude. Great catcher, humble, fantastic attitude, played all season broken up and sent down and returned from minors. Couldn’t have happened to a nicer kid and was really thrilled it was him that hit it.

Not far from finishing this bowl of year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a very much appreciated 1979 brown, slight bend grain etched flat front Stanwell Rego 969-48 (09) with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Watching the Roberto Clemente documentary.

Jim, I am sure glad you told us about the documentary on Roberto Clemente. My wife and I watched it and it was really good. The wife especially enjoyed it as she did not know much of the story. It was well done.
