I was able to get my hands on a few Gold Bricks this year and have stashed them away. Would love to hear your take on the 2016!

It's certainly much better aged than fresh. Much less acidity and grass and a bit smoother. The Virginia flavor is much more enjoyable.

A little rainy so skipped the weeding, switched out the tops on my Jeep, visited with Doug Finlay while enjoying his Dublin and talking about what Santa might bring me and now having some Ashton Guilty Pleasure in a Peterson Deluxe System 9B while not feeling guilty about taking a break before cleaning up in the garage.

Now smoking Peretti Royal in a black sandblasted medium bend 2013 Mark Tinsky Coral 5 cherrywood with a smooth dark brown shank and bottom with a tapered black briar accented acrylic stem.

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am half way through this bowl from a freshly opened package of year 2016 Wessex Gold Brick in an undated straight black sandblasted Kevin Arthur brandy with a multi-colored accent on the white acrylic saddle stem. This pipe was originally owned by Sante “FishnBanjo” Guiliani. I was looking for a straight Va. that wasn't already spoken for by other pipes for this one, and this will do for a long time. Haven't smoked this pipe in a while, but it'll see some action now.

Close to finishing this bowl of year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Enjoying my weekly pipe zoom. Larry's Espresso #9, neat, is my drink.
