Smoking some 536 in a dunnie, this is the blend that got me into pipe smoking

Smoking some more Telegraph Hill and enjoying some milky Russian Caravan Tea, ever present Castello is my pipe.
Earlier, I smoked year 2012 Rolando’s Own in a smooth straight early ‘60s Lane era “William Conrad” Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem.
After that, I took too short a nap, and am just finishing this bowl of year 2012 Mac Baren Virginia Flake in a 1980 black sandblasted full bent Ascorti Business Extension Saxaphone with a thin gold band accent and black acrylic saddle stem. Haven't smoked this pipe in quite a while, so I thought it deserved some action. I heavily smoked this in the 1980s and much of the 1990s.

Afternoon bowl of KBV Brown Flek in an Upshall sandblast Canadian size 4 while contemplating the looming hurricane Lee while sitting ensconced on the East coast of Florida.
First smoke in the new Tekin meer, a bent brandy with silver rim. The bite zone on the stem IS a chonk, but not uncomfortably so. The Mcclelland Drama Reserve is tasting marvelous.

Wilke Cherry Cavendish in the Nording Hunter Anniversary - heat wave is over! Blustery wind out of the west which will make its way north by tomorrow afternoon and will wake up to 58 degrees tomorrow! I’m wearing a jacket to work (still leaving the Jeep “open” for a month or more). We’re going to have two really happy dogs! The lacquer on this pipe always makes it look paneled, which it isn’t.

I tried this blend as soon as it arrived. It was damp and tasteless. Let it sit a few days to dry out, and now it’s a favorite. Great Orientals with a perfect hint of Latakia.
