2015 Mind Meld VA in my new J. Everett bent billiard. Accent is polished elk antler. Jason makes a great pipe, smokes like a dream from the first light.

I was just reading his insta post on this pipe and wishing it was mine, congrats!

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, chicken legs and green beans dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm nearing the last third of this bowl of 2021 Watch City Simply Orange Virginia in a black sandblast medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY 4AB No. 182/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Watching an episode of Mike Hammer. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink.

Last bowl of a Canal Boat tin in a MM Country Gentleman.
It's a extremely smooth blend but not impressed me, probably because of the taste delivered by black Cavendish? I found myself hardly enjoy any Cavendish-include non-aro blends, including some highly praised blends like Pegasus, PS LBF etc.
I guess it's just how my taste buds work.

A quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2019 C&D Yorktown in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Terracotta 4AB No.108/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Going to finish touching up pages on this Archie story in a minute or two.

Having Seattle Pipe Club Plum Pudding in a Briar, Sweat, and Tears (BST) Large Curve (LC) 3/4 Bent Billiard. I’ve always liked Genod Swan Neck pipes and the Dunhill LC. Dunhill LC pipes rarely turn up, but it occurred to me that a new one could be made! After drooling over @tfdickson ’s BST LC by Todd Bannard aka @sasquatch , it became clear to me that I preferred Todd’s fleshier, thicker curved rendition over the sort of anemic Dunhills. Fortunately, Todd had a big enough block on hand that had the Birdseye grain I requested. I asked Todd to try to get the biggest pipe out of the block (as I enjoy a long smoke)—essentially, he said he would try as long as it didn't compromise the form of the pipe. I’ve been traveling a bit, but finally have a chance to sit down and smoke this big ’un. The chamber is 2.75" deep; measuring from the front of the stummel to the end of the bit measures about 7.0". This is a pretty large pipe—see the Savinelli 320 KS Author for a sense of scale.

Thanks to @sasquatch for tackling this project and teasing the best out of that hunk of briar; thanks to Mrs. sasquatch for the King Kong sized furry pipe sock!

Finished that story, and am half way through this bowl of Wilke No. 515 Double Shot in a smooth dark medium bend 2021 Peterson Heritage Brown POTY 4AB No. 45/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. This is No. 515 with twice the rum of the Basil Rathbone blend.
