More 5 bros in a London made Orlik Reject. I’m in two minds about this blend. I love the shag cut and its honesty, but after mucking around with whole leaf and home grown, I find it just a bit underwhelming. I know its not supposed to be a blow your socks off flavour bomb, but it doesn’t put a smile on my dial as I would have expected. View attachment 97270

Lazy afternoon reading and trying out WIlke Rum and Maple in a Nachwalter Straight Grain Billiard with white pearlescent stem and WIlke Rumcake in the morning's Savinelli Giubileo d'Oro 824; had enough GL Pease Stonehenge Flake rubbed out for a MM Cob bowl for a reference point. Very, very nice both (my lousy palate loves rum-soaked blends).

Now smoking year 2013 Escudo in a smooth dark brown quarter bend post-1935 KBB/Kaywoodie New England Briar Pipe Company Flagship 83B Rhodesian with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Scherzer is pitching a perfect game for the Dodgers after seven innings.
