On my doorstep after a long day at the shop. Smoking a weird combination of "left over flakes". I think it's a mix of Bold Kentucky, Bob's Chocolate Flake along with a bit of Salty Dogs and some Orlik Golden Sliced... not bad though! Very nutty.
Now smoking year 2015 Seattle Pipe Club Deception Pass in a smooth straight brown late 1930s Linkman’s Dr. Grabow Deluxe Bruyere 9708B pot with a nickel accent and a black tapered vulcanite stem. Going to work soon.
Experimenting with 4 parts Peter Stokkebye 84 Turkish (Samsoun/Virginia), 4 parts Cyprus Latakia, 2 parts Smyrna in an Ashton Pebble Grain Made in England XX billiard. Nice, soft, cool smoke, but not quite what I want it to be yet.
Smoked Sutliff Danish Cavendish several times today in a two different Baraccini Lovats. I know it has way more ingredients, but this has a pretty similar taste profile to Butternut Burley, to me. I taste the same clean burley in the midst of all that sweetness, but this also has Virginia and Black Cav. I'm going to mix some Lane Burley LWAB with this, I think.
Just passed the half way mark on this bowl of Low Country Pipe & Cigar Natural Virginia & Burley in a 2020 straight black sandblasted Merchant Service “Bing” Standard with a nickel band and black vulcanite tapered stem.
After dinner, I had a cobfull of Edward G. Robinson. About ready to have some Irish Flake with my nighttime tea. I will finish off the night with some Maltese Falcon.
A third of the way through this bowl of Wilke No. 911 in a late 40s, early 50s straight black sandblasted Wagner (Comoy’s second) pot with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Have enough for one more bowl. Working and listening to The Line Up on the XM.
Well gee mate, just like @Ettrick puffer sometimes showing us the Bonnie Sights while puffing, please show us too, while you out and about Clay Pipe Puffing Walking around town!
Just finished smoking Wilke Peanut Butter in a 1980s black sandblasted slight bend Savory’s Argyll 281 Cherrywood with a black vulcanite tapered stem. Took a work break to feed all the cats, and brew some Community Coffee.
