Enjoying some C&D Easy Times in a Chacom. Based on the encouragement of some good folks in these groups, plus my own desire to move my palate along, I’m happy to be working some English blends into the rotation. So far, so good - this one is terrific. I get burley as the leader, with some sweet, smokiness from the Virginia and Kentucky underlying, all punctuated by a persistent peppery tingle from the Latakia. Pairs perfectly with a cup of English Breakfast. Cheers!

Just finished smoking year 2013 Capstan Gold in a post-WWII Bertram 60 straight smooth dark brown squat bulldog with a black vulcanite saddle stem.
Now smoking year 2014 Dan Tobacco Hamborger Veermaster in a smooth straight brown 1950 Dunhill 48 bulldog group 4 root briar with a black vulcanite fish tail saddle stem.
Good night. We continue smoking with: C&D Star of the East Flake, in a MM Charles Cobbler..........................
HH Old Dark Fired in a cob, cup of espresso,swam some laps.
I open a performance tonight (Henry V in a Shakespeare festival, also the Doctor in Macbeth, who I've played before) so I'm smoking Cornell & Diehl Opening Night in a Brigham Voyageur Straight Rhodesian with a shiny new rock maple filter. I really need to swap those out more....

Started off with some 4th Generation Afternoon Melange in my Savinelli St Nicholas 2020 320ks, and then decided to chain smoke some HH Latakia Flake in my Patent Era Brigham 2 Dot Bent Dublin.

Oh, man, that one's especially a keeper. I probably oggled that one a time or two. Good snag!

Early evening bowl of C&D Kajun Kake in a Burak Connoisseur smooth Tankard with tapered stem. Nice Peterson Xmas pipes back there!
Just finished smoking Drucquer and Sons First Amendment in a 2002 Ser Jacopo Delecta Fatta A Mano R1 sandblast Rhodesian with a smooth extension at the shank with a military mount and a black acrylic tapered stem.
Going to smoke another clay bowl of Erinmore Flake.
