Earlier I smoked some Englsh Oriental in a slightly bent Dublin meerschaum carved by Muhsin. Just finished some good old BCA in a new Rob Roy cob by MM. That stem part peeking into the bowl is starting to char off yay.
HalfnHalf in my Shire Cobbit with a cold glass of M Special's American Lager. The Shire seems to be perfectly made for when I wanna smoke a codger blend.
About a third of a bowl left of 2016 Anniversary Kake in a smooth 1979 Chippendale (Charatan second) Rhodesian 49 with a black vulcanite saddle stem. This will finish my smoking day.
Another wonderful day with highs expected in the 80s. Thought I would start off my day with some American rope tobacco which I always find has a nasty habit of unwinding into leaves. I cut it into 7" lengths and slightly rehydrate it before binding it up very tightly with string and then jar it for 6 months or so. The result is more like a traditional British twist and if flavored tobacco is your thing you can always just dump it in scotch or rum and them hang up in your wardrobe before jarring, keeps the moths at bay too! My pipe of choice this morning is a Le Cume late 19th century 5' meerschaum 'cutty' with Philtpad fitted and a faux amber stem by Briarville.
Just finished a bowl of Drucquer & Sons Inns of Court in an IRC Italian-made Lovat (or maybe it's a long shanked billiard). Tobacco pictured is a 2011 Dunhill tin I scored today.
