Starting off my smoking day with Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. A bottle of Cheerwine made with pure cane sugar is my drink.

I have indeed. John Brandt worked his tail off trying to duplicate Nut Brown Burley, but he couldn't get close enough to an acceptable substitute to market it, so it's not coming back. Btw, you may be interested and surprised to know that Carole told me when she was blending it, that it wasn't a big seller .

That’s too bad, but I give him credit. Many blenders unfortunately will release a different blend and use the old name when some tobaccos are no longer available. I could think of at least two dozen easily.

Escudo in a Peterson Aran 106. I had forgotten how peppery this gets. Could’ve done with more drying, but I had limited time and decided to just go for it. Might dry a coin for later on tonight to compare experiences.
