I hope you haven't given up on the old clay; it would be good to see it again...
I'm not really interested in non clay pipes apart from Cavendish's antique silver churchwarden...
That's not going to happen, I'll keep buying clay. I actually would've ordered several clay pipes instead of a new cob and bruyere, but the shop baited me with their pipe cleaner deal so I placed an order there.
1000 Angelo cleaners for 12.40€, They're decent too.
With two new pipes this cost me 52€, no delivery charge. I couldn't resist.

Whatever, I need that raw tobacco leaf and pure clay pipe for the clean tobacco taste that I want and expect.
But I also enjoy the variety and difference of the pipes.
Every single pipe of mine smokes, handles and kinda tastes differently and I enjoy getting acquainted with them, getting to know them and the performance of their material. I like that.

@ashdigger That's a fancy looking pipe; I like the colouring and the silver decoration. I've smoked some Ennerdale Flake in my clay pipes; my local tobacconist in Chesterfield sells it loose.
Not buying any more pipeweed until re-enactments next year.
Do you think the Clay King 👑 will survive his month long abstinence from the clay pipes???

Sutliff Balkan Sobranie 759 Match in a Stanwell slightly bent scoop featherweight. Had to jump start my wife's car last Thursday and now have to run it around for about two hundred miles to get it to inspection for a license sticker and to pay property tax on it. The computer needs to reprogram after the battery is out of juice. A little Balkan seemed about right after we ran the car across town for mileage to pick up a pizza and a Coke. We like this little bucket, but it gets shelf-worn sitting under a tree, and now a limb has dented the trunk panel.
