I thought you liked a fast burn? Like 1 minute and change.@TN Jed I've tried a packet of Erinmore mixture in my clay pipes; I thought it burned a bit hot & faster than I expected. Perhaps this is because clays burn hotcompared to other pipes...

War horse red bar in a Rossi Dublin on a rainy Hawaiian day. I honestly hate this pipe. It gets extremely hot, and has a very restricted draw. Just wanted to give it one more chance before I chuck it in the fire.

I've got a clay with a vulcanite stem; I've smoked some Old Dark Fired in my clays - @Chasing Embers recommends it in a large clay
Now smoking unreleased Sutliff VaPer in a mid-2000 decade Tom Eltang straight black sand blasted canted AJ Dublin with a cream and brown horn ferrule, and a tapered black acrylic stem.
That blast is the best I’ve seen, just incredible!!
Sounds like a good candidate to open up the airway(s). Seems a shame to toss it rather than modify it.
