'13 Ashton Gold Rush in the new-to-me Batson Blowfish
Inaugural smoke in my new Savinelli 313! As I'd hoped, I'm loving the shape, weight, feel in the hand, draw, everything.
The picture doesn't show the half-bowl of McClelland #2015 VaPer very well. I know I could break it in with anything, but years ago, I read about using Virginias to break in new pipes just in case they shine in that role. If nothing else, that heuristic makes the decision easier! I took it slow, ready to pump the brakes if anything felt too hot, and didn't worry too much about burning the last of the tobacco on this breezy day. So far, so good!

Just finishing up some Germain’s 1820 cross cut Flake in this Falcon with meer bowl, I’m reserving this for Germain’s Latakia blends as they seem to have been made for each other.
Up next is Whimsical in this 60’s Dr Grabow Commodore Dublin, I must say this is a fantastic blend and wish I’d ordered more than the one tin.

Smoking some Nightcap in a Rossi 8202. Just spent a few minutes removing some of the finish to give it a little different look. I’m pleasantly surprised by the results. Only one small fill on the bottom of the shank and some decent grain. Not bad for a Savinelli 2nd, budget pipe.

Half way through this bowl of year 2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Watching Mad Dog Russo.

Did a set of walking reps, and am close to finishing this bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in an undated straight brush etched black Molina apple with a nickel band and a black tapered vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
