Hi everyone, I just finished the best bowl of Germain’s SLF I’ve had in this Falcon with Meerschaum bowl, so cool and smooth all the way down even though I smoke like a drowning man gasping for air.
Moving on to MacBaren’s London Blend which I absolutely love, the tin note is like cocoa and earth. I’ll be smoking this in the meer lined Kaywoodie All Briar. I’m reading Yoshikawa’s epic saga about the samurai Musashi, I last read this 30 years ago during a long hot summer in Florida, if you’ve not read it and like ancient Japanese culture I thoroughly recommend it View attachment 167814

How is it compared to Shogun? I have always wanted to read it, just never got around to it.

I'm close to finishing this bowl of year 2022 Mac Baren Burley London Blend in a smooth medium bend 2011 Rinaldo Collection Fiammata Silver Line 7 Odea 04 flame grain bulldog with a silver band and a tortoise shell acrylic saddle stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
