Bird report: Hairy woodpecker, California scrub-jay, Steller's jay, House finch, California towhee, California quail, Common raven, Ring-necked dove, Mourning dove, and Dark-eyed junco.

I'm just finishing this bowl of year 2013 Dunhill Flake in a straight smooth 1960 Dunhill DR 137 group 4 root briar canted dublin with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

I find that the Costco XO cognac drinks quite nicely, and for the price is hard to beat! I started the evening in the backyard with some Luxury Navy Flake in an MM Cob, but finished the evening with some 7 Seas red in my Jensen.

I'll have a little rye whiskey here in a bit, cheers folks. God protect all of you in Florida.

Evening pipe: WCC 558 in my Savinelli 614. This blend is in my top five. I just ordered 8oz more. I cannot get enough of it right now. B/W this, Kadath, and Black Frigate, my week has been rather amazing in the blends realm.
