Now smoking a friend’s home blend, Dix VaBur in the third pipe I ever bought ($1.95), a 1974 smooth straight French briar Hadley Apple with a black vulcanite tapered stem. Back to work as I listen to The Beatles Channel.
In my experience those twists need a lot of drying time. Experiment with different drying times to see what works best for you. Personally I like mine pretty damn dry, that’s when I get the most flavor out of em.Got quite a lot of twist to smoke through; I think it tastes good but it takes some lighting to get my fire ? going!
Thanks - I'm new to twist myself and would never have considered it if @condorlover1 hadn't recommended it and sent me some to try in my clay pipes! In my experience those twists need a lot of drying time.
