Early 20th Cent M.F (Montague Friedlander of Glasgow 1877-1919) in flying saucer shape similar to the later JET SET from Italy of the 1960s + G. L. Pease MALTESE FALCON:-

Kendal Plug, no age on it, in a Lane Limited pipe. Today was my first time having Kendal plug and I’ve already had three bowls of it. Can’t wait to get some age on the rest of it and try it then since I’m loving it fresh!
Great stuff indeed, fresh or not, though I've only had it fresh (6 mo old). Just rounded the cellar out with several more boxes this week. Enjoy!

Thanks! The pipe is just a hobby block I carved a while back. I didn’t have a clue about pipe carving at the time, but it turned out well enough, and is now my primary English blend pipe. It actually smokes great. The dog is a black and rust Doberman that I’ve had since he was a pup. Smartest, most obedient dog I’ve ever had. He’s about 12 years old now, which is old for a Doberman. Sometimes I wonder how much longer he’ll be around. He still acts like a puppy though, and he and I do some back porch sitting when I can. He’s the only one in the house that doesn’t bitch about how bad my guitar playing is ?

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, filet mignon, mushrooms and green beans dinner with peaches and strawberries for dessert. I'm half way through this bowl of year 2012 Rolando’s Own in a smooth straight early ‘60s Lane era “William Conrad” Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. Watching the Braves-Marlins game.
