There are some gorgeous views on those bluffs at Ft. Pillow. I have never been there during the winter when the leaves were off. If you get the chance to go up there this winter, please take photos and share.

Will do! It's not but a 30min drive from my house. Lots of lovely hikes to be had out there. The blue trail is amazing and if you time it correctly, you get to watch the sunset from the bluffs over the river, then trek back at dusk

Enjoying a late night (for me) smoke of aggressively rubbed-out Horizons in the MiniMeer. Definitely will be getting more of this blend, it really clicked with me. So far I’ve had it in wide bowls, thin bowls, deep and shallow bowls, cob, briar, and meerschaum; it’s been cube cut, rubbed out, whole rolled flake, broken up, fresh and moist, and dry as autumn leaves, and different combinations thereof. One of the most versatile tobaccos I’ve had the pleasure of trying. It’s like Haunted Bookshop Cake or Sutliff 507c in that way, for me, in that it can present itself many ways and all of them seem to be coherent and pleasant.

From a recent sampler, a new to me Baccarat (natural) cigar. It was ok. Certainly not terrible, but would not purchase another. Sweetened tip, which I usually don't smoke. A little wonky and bitter in the final stages.
