I’m halfway through a tin of
Maverick Route 66, so it’s time for some conclusions. Smoked in a
Mario Pascucci -P Rust-2127 (silver ring) while walking through an autumn forest. The blend leaves a mixed impression — the Virginia here is rather harsh, with no sweetness at all, showing a slight bitterness that makes it feel more Burley-like than a classic Virginia base. The smoke is dry and a bit rough, but it has character — like an old American highway at noon, only now surrounded by the scent of fallen leaves and the first chill of the season.
