Absolutely, yes and yes. I've had it a long time, seems indestructible. It makes a very strong, smooth, espresso-like coffee. I usually top up with plain milk, about 50/50. You'll get the hang of it after a few brews. Trick is to heat slowly, so it just "dribbles" out the top -- you don't want it gushing and frothing everywhere. Watch some youtube videos on it!! Half way through this bowl of year 2012 St. James Flake in a straight smooth brown Algerian briar post-WW2-early 50s family era Barling’s Make Ye Olde Wood T.V.F. Made in England EL billiard with a tapered black ebonite stem. This pipe is from the estate of David Cuneo. Going to clean a few pipes. The ferals are in and eating. The Dodgers-Phillies game starts after the top of the hour.
