I can get a moka pot for about what it costs to replace the basket. I’ll let you know if I pull the trigger.Absolutely, yes and yes. I've had it a long time, seems indestructible. It makes a very strong, smooth, espresso-like coffee. I usually top up with plain milk, about 50/50. You'll get the hang of it after a few brews. Trick is to heat slowly, so it just "dribbles" out the top -- you don't want it gushing and frothing everywhere. Watch some youtube videos on it!! Good luck!![]()
