Smoking my little Dunhill CK double patent today with patent stamped inner tube and stem, so all original. Its filled with Capstan Blue RR, lovely pipe and smokes really well and not bad for a 100 year old chunk of briar.

This little “tasting cob” is really growing on me. I have two flakes of 2023 escudo rolled up in here, and it’s giving me good stuff.

One Flake of Peter Stockebye Luxury Navy Flake in the Erica Second XL302 with Savnelli stem and 6mm filter. This is a new batch of PSLNF and completely different than the two batches I had last year. Last year it had a strong dark flavor like it was flew cured. This batch tastes like a smooth creamy Capstan Blue without the acidity ... Honey and Lemon Tea to start then warm sweet lemony bread for second half of bowl and excellent to the very last puff before it winked out. I'm not sure what I received last year was LNF. Also this is far better than Sutliff 507-C so I don't think they were the same but maybe its just me ... would that be 'meybe' ???.
Staying dry in the garage tonight and realizing my workbench seriously needs cleaned off before winter smoke season.

Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and am smoking year 2012 Esoterica Dorchester in a straight smooth brown 1920s KBB Rocky Briar 1582 patent no.298978 with a B in a circle bulldog with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Daisy the Feral Princess was banging at the back door, so I let her in to eat. She didn't like the wet food I had down, and she let me know it. She followed me back to my chair, and jumped on my lap for attention. When it was time for me get another cup of coffee, she followed me to the kitchen, stood by the wet food dish, and gave me the "Give me something else besides this swill" look. I had to do that because Feral Princesses always get their way.
Just finished my night capper bowl of Hiking in a Pete Tawny Deluxe out in the warm Houston air. Time for some electrolyte water and hopefully 8 hours of quality shut eye.
