Just finished my night capper bowl of Hiking in a Pete Tawny Deluxe out in the warm Houston air. Time for some electrolyte water and hopefully 8 hours of quality shut eye.

Beautiful pipe, man, that finish is mesmerizing.
Also electrolyte water is essential, good choice. Beats my choice of tequila by a country mile.

Now smoking year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a 2018 full bend smooth Terracotta Peterson XL315 System Standard military mount with a nickel cap and a flared black vulcanite p-lip stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Tomato the Brave came in to eat and run back out. I'll let Harry the Hairy in after I post this smoke.

Just popped the tin and first time trying this blend that has mesmerized me since I first came across it when started seriously shopping-up for the cellar, waaaay back in 2022. Tin note is wonderfully rich with a little fermented tang, a whiff of cocoa, and yes a hint of rum. This first bowl though seemed a bit muted. Now that the tin's been cracked, I expect a few weeks will let it open up. I have high expectations! puffy

Enjoyed a little low calorie snacking, and am near the first third of this bowl of year 2015 Mac Baren Modern Virginia in a medium bend, smooth dark brown 1950s Peterson 999 Shamrock chubby Rhodesian with a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. Daisy the Feral Princess has been by my feet since my last post. Harry the Hairy wanted out a few minutes ago. Tomato the Brave is enjoying the great outdoors, too.

Last smoke of the day is year 2020 Angler's Dream in a 2018 natural smooth medium bend Peterson 03 apple silver spigot military mount with a tapered black acrylic fish tail stem. Daisy the Feral Princess just went out, and the other two ferals weren't around. I'll check again in a few minutes. Otherwise, I'm reading while this bowl lasts.

All of you are familiar with today's first smoke. Maybe you have a childhood memory of a grandfather or father smoking it.
Today I am firing up some Prince Albert in my Stanwells billiard.

For me, living in Sweden, this blend is almost impossible to get. I saw a lot about this blend on YouTube, messageboards and well all social media pipe smoking.

So what do I think about it?

I really like it, it's mild, soft, and burns excellently, and has a nice nutty, earthy, and chocolate taste.
If this were available in my country, for the same price as in the USA, it would be my daily smoke.
