Relaxing after a wonderful salad, chicken legs and sugar snap peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm almost half way through this bowl of year 2012 Stonehaven in a 2002 medium bend smooth brown Rinaldo EGEA 03 Silver line spigot 10 with a black acrylic saddle stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink.

Now smoking year 2013 Capstan Gold in a post-WWII Bertram 60 straight smooth dark brown squat bulldog with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Going to smoke a few squat bulldogs tonight. Watching The Lady From Shanghai.

Irish Flake, then my Dark Sails mix, then Ryback/Odds and Ends pretty much back to back in the Sportsman 87 have been my workday smoke
Sobrbiker & Sandblast appear to tandemly run afoul of Jimlnks habit of solely dedicating a pipe to a blend. Guess we are heathens, just smoking "whatever", "whenever we feel like it" in whatever pipe we choose.
Pretty toasty for October. Yesterday the records for the latest 110* degree days in Metro Phoenix continued to fall, they clocked 113* for a high at Sky Harbor.
Picturing if Sandblast were to visit Sobrbiker, immediately complaining about the ungodly temps, then listening to Sobrbiker admonishing, "HEY, QUIT YOUR BITCHING ... this is what I simply LIVE with daily. Suck it up!"

Okay, then with the return invite for Sobrbiker to MN in Jan ... temps consistently -25 to -30, Wind Chills around -50, spit turning to ice before it hits the ground, Sandblast would take huge delight in telling Sobrbiker, "HEY, QUIT YOUR BITCHING ... this is what we LIVE with every Winter. Gotta grow a pair up here!"

Comoy #7 coin cut in an Edward's excel pipe. I don't know a lot about these pipes. I've read that Randy Wiley may have carved for them? All I know about this pipe is it has crazy straight grain all the way around and I can't find a single fill anywhere on it. If anyone knows if "Excel" is a model or grade, let me know.

A “warm” front moved through Anchorage bringing blustery rain and temps in the 40s. What little snow we had in town is gone and it’s hard to tell if it’s late Fall or early Winter. Perfect weather for an after-dinner cabernet, a cherry aromatic and the good Doctor Grabow.
