Last smoke of the day is year 2016 D&R Two Timer Gold in a 1982 smooth straight Sasieni Ivory 105 Apple with a black vulcanite saddle stem. This was my first Sasieni. Bought it at my local Tinderbox for $9.95. Just fed Tomato the Brave and Harry the Hairy. Daisy the Feral Princess is eating now.

My first bowl of a New Love - Carter Hall in my favorite pipe, a Peterson 53. I don't quite know what to say, I feel as if the scales have fallen from my eyes with Carter Hall. This stuff is lovely! I have pounds of other bulk blends that are no better than this, and they're harder to pack and keep lit. Anyway, Carter Hall on a nice fall morning with a cup of coffee suits me right down to the ground.

Good day all! Great to be back on the forum after two and half weeks of Covid. On day three, lost ALL taste and smell. This worked out well because after a week I coud sit up long enough to smoke. So I starting working through old tobaccos I didn't like but hadn't gotten around to dumping. The last week and a half I've been chuffing away with old beater pipes happily not tasting or smelling a thing. Note the pleasant pipe buzz is VERY therapeutic. I did not report to the forum specific blends etc., but I will share that I must have smoked a pound of Lane tobaccos. Late yesterday my taste and smell returned so I today I'm eagerly back to the standard routine: starting with GH Brown Flake Aromatic in a dedicated wee Tilshead smooth Dublin with canted rim and flattened shank with matching eighth-bent tapered stem size 3. Tastes great!

Gambler, you say? I have never tried it, but I did see this a while back. ;-)
I figured I needed to try some cheap stuff to appreciate the good stuff. Not the worst thing I've smoked, so if I was snowed in somewhere and this was all I had to smoke I'd be glad to have it.

Yeah I've seen this guy's channel before, a year later he put up a video about why cheap tobacco is actually better. Entertaining fellow though.

Tobacco drying box shreds/remnants in the Barontini 1/2 spigot with 9mm filter. Good mix of tobacco and I can't believe how great this pipe has become after all the initial problems I had with pinhole leaks and lacquer bubbling. Its become one of my go to pipes for a relaxing smooth smoke. It clicks all the boxes in terms of size, balance, shape, etc. I'll have to take an updated photo later.

Getting my 10k steps in before work this morning. Sadly the sun had not come up so the picture didn’t turn out great. Old Joe Krantz in an IMP Lattice and some black coffee in a cool wood paneled MiiR mug my wife got me. I am consistently reminded how amazing of a blend OJK is. Absolutely a fall blend for me. Smokes even and cool down the whole bowl.
