5-year old Capstan Blue in a Lasse Skovgaard bent egg.

Has anyone else noticed that VAPERs and pure Virginias seem to lose depth and sweetness when the humidity (not the tobacco) is very dry? Normally, we have outdoor dewpoints in the 70's in summer and upper 50's in fall. Today, only 30-degree dewpoint, humidity is 25%. Tasting flat and "cigarette" like.

I have not noticed that re humidity. Only when some mild allergy is triggered (usually due to change in weather causing something to spread spores or pollen)

Passing the half way mark of this bowl of pre-2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Fed all the ferals, and Sleepy Suzy is eating now. Molly Danger ate already.

Warped Scarecrow in a Longhorn cob. Watching College GameDay (in Austin for the game). Between the UT/Georgia game, United States Grand Prix, Sting, and Eminem Austin is packed! This is why I moved to the country. We’re well supplied with some killer junk food, plenty of beverages, a big ol’ TV, killer sound, and comfortable chairs. Oh, and I get to smoke during the game.

On that note I take a tart Cherry supplement every morning and drink a lot of water throughout the day, with one glass being lemon water. I also watch my diet and eat foods that have lots of anti inflammatory stuff in it. I save the weekend for my junk food days. So far so good my own attacks haven’t happened in years and minor ones resolve pretty quickly.
Colchicine will have you up and walking the same day. I second the Tart Cherry...it keeps it away. I use the concentrate mixed with copious amounts of water.

Cider Day1.jpg
Cider Making Day at Acton Scott Heritage Farm... mostly spent hanging around looking picturesque and getting photographed, and answering random questions from visitors, like: How many acres here? What's a Foxwhelp? What is the average gestation period of sheep? (etc). Smoking Hal O' The Wynd in the trusty Barling Meerschaum, with a bottle of cold tea - the vade mecum of the Victorian English farm worker - and later, a pint of Long Mynd cider :)
