Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and am a third of the way through this bowl of year 2019 C&D Yorktown in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Terracotta 4AB No.108/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem.

How would you compare aged to fresh with Burley Flake #2? Does the time improve it?
I really should open a fresh tin to properly answer that- I haven't smoked one since last year.

This has mellowed and melded but still has plenty of (Burley) punch. The virginias are not as sweetened up as I thought they might be. Good- yes, definitely. Improved- dunno, maybe.

For reference I believe Pegasus improves significantly with age. I attribute this to the Virginias becoming punchier

Just finished smoking Almost a third of the way through this bowl of year 2018 Solani 633 in a straight 1954 patent Dunhill 148 Group 3 black shell bulldog made for the France market with a black saddle vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Spent a little time with Molly Danger. Fed all the ferals, too.

Enjoyed a rather small, but tasty Snap Dragon apple, and have a third of a bowl left of Watch City American Cut Plug Mixture in a smooth medium bend terracotta Peterson POY 2023 X160 464/1100 military mount egg with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Sleepy Suzy is by my side. Everybody else is snoozin'.

Well, well. What’s this? A bright, sunny morning here in east central Scotland, with a bit of warmth, and no wind? Rare. So heading out for a brisk walk along the waterfront. Filled up with Pipe Force Episode IV (the one with the stoved Katerini & Rustica, Latakia, and red Virginia). In a Brigham straight Rhodesian.
