Beautiful pics. Thank you for posting those. Enjoyed seeing them.Took a lovely walk with WeeBay up to the old Norman church of St Micheal and just got home, it’s a beautiful autumn day and the first of the year that actually felt and smelled of Fall with a brisk nor’easter. I regretted not packing an English blend as it would have accompanied it very nicely but was content enough with Erinmore Flake in my ‘66 Jeantet President.
Now home with some more coffee and about to pack some Pelican in an Italian Commodore cutty, usually used for stronger Lat blends than this. View attachment 253581 View attachment 253582View attachment 253583View attachment 253584
Top pic’s are the Norman tower of St Micheal’s and bottom the view north along the Ouse valley towards the hamlet of Piddinghoe and the historic town of Lewes and the South Downs national park.
Alas, I don't, Jim. No idea what happened to them.Did some snacking, and then smoked a bowl of year 2016 Wessex Gold Brick in an undated straight black sandblasted Kevin Arthur brandy with a multi-colored accent on the white acrylic saddle stem. This pipe was originally owned by Sante “FishnBanjo” Guiliani. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
@Cloozoe , do you have any of Sante's pipes?

It's the Stuuby from Missouri Meerschaum. The one they offer at the moment has a red stem but the black stemmed one should be back soon. It's the same stem that's on the poker. I love the pipe.Love the stem, is that a custom cob or just the stem?
I got some Stonehaven from this years drop and it is a night and day difference from last years release. G&S didn't hold back on the topping.Big W for the Volunteers tonight. Celebrating with a White Russian whilst smoking Dunbar in a Grechukhin and pondering the pros and cons of using the Russian defense against my rookie chess playing wife. Say what you like about the tenets of national socialism,Dude, at least it’s an ethos. Had a pregame bowl of Stonehaven in a Barling Meerschaum. GBO!View attachment 253496
Delayed gratification technique. Before this I finished off a bowl from last night and was reminded that, years ago, on the old, cranky pipe forum I used to frequent, people would promote lighting up, smoking, say, half a bowl, then deliberately setting it aside for a few hours and then relighting in order to be rewarded with a smoking experience of unsurpassed superbiosity. If I remember correctly, the technique even had a name. Is that still a thing?
