It’s an unusual blend, a mix of ribbon, wild and cube cut but the more I smoke it the better it gets. I recommend letting it mellow for a couple of weeks but try a bowl first to see how it changes. I’m not sure if I’ll be getting more but I’ll definitely finish the tin. Personally I don’t notice any Latakia so if it’s there it’s a tiny amount, a little rough initially but once the top evaporates a bit it calms down. It’s worth trying however especially if you like liquorice.
Thanks for the run down. It sounds interesting, I think I'll pick one up next time I order from Estervals.

I prefer to clean my pipes at about 32, too. 600 in the queue will indeed demand those traits. :col:

A third of a bowl left of year 2013 Rotary Navy Cut in a post-1938 Pre-Republic Peterson Dublin straight smooth X155 bulldog with a sterling silver band and a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. Nigel Bruce smoked this model in two Sherlock Holmes movies. Please consider asking Smoking Pipes to bring back this model.

Part way through this bowl of year 2012 Rolando’s Own in a smooth straight early ‘60s Lane era “William Conrad” Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem.
