Almost half way through this bowl of C&D Wintertime Reserve 2022: Ghost of Christmas Future in a 2002 IMP smooth full bend egg shaped meer with a black acrylic stem. Working on a review of this blend. There will be three Wintertime blends this year, and even though I have not smoked all of the previous ones, these aren't like the ones I have smoked.

Been smoking Bayou Morning Flake for the past few days. The tin is almost gone and it is certainly one of my favorite Va/Per flakes that I've tried. I definitely will be picking up a few of the 8oz tins. As someone who primarily enjoys burley forward blends, this is a Va/Per that actually satisfies me on the nicotine front.

Been busy reviewing and forgot to list my smokes. The first one was C&D Wintertime Reserve 2022: Ghost of Christmas Present in a 2003 medium bent Ural meer with a lined and etched egg shaped bowl with a silver band and a pearl brown acrylic saddle stem.

I'm just finishing this bowl of Wilke No. 515 in a smooth dark medium bend 2021 Peterson Heritage Brown POTY 4AB No. 45/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. This was the blend Basil Rathbone smoked.

Starting the day with columbian coffee and light cream and Newminster 400 Navy flake (1/3rd bowl) in the Barontini 1/2 spigot bent billiard with 9mm filter. I think I finally figured out this pipe. Its not designed for a quick smoke. It has a 20mmx52mm chamber. Most of my pipes are large but this one smokes differently. I went over 40 minutes with a third of a bowl and finally had to dump it ... there was enough dottle left that I probably could have gone another 15 or 20 minutes. This is an all day house or pub pipe for slow sipping. Smoked that way the bowl barely gets warm. This would be perfect for one of those smoking competitions or a long walk or book. The newminster 400 lasts longest in this pipe. Its like a tobacco miser. So I will have to smoke it accordingly. Everyone have a wonderful and safe Friday !
