At the Vegas Pipe Show this weekend. Got my hands on a 17 year old can of Best Brown #2. Cracked it open and was surprised to find a slightly smoky tin note. In the bowl, had that famous/infamous Lakeland floral note but very slight and not the least bit off-putting. Half way through got some of that fruitiness. Now we'll see what some oxygen does to it in the jar. IMG_0500.jpegIMG_0503.jpeg

Did a set of walking reps on this beautiful Fall day, and am close to finishing this bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in an undated straight brush etched black Molina apple with a nickel band and a black tapered vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

My 2019 Escudo one-tin challenge continues in a cob, now that I've already used all of my Virginia-dedicated briars. Despite a few random ghosts making their presence known, it's smoking nice and sweet. puffy
P.S. The end of this bowl was not so great, due to the ghosts of past blends getting louder, and this being the first smoke after applying some cigar ash pipe mud to a spot I was concerned about. I just need more Virginia pipes, I think!
