Since my first bowl earlier today was a loser, this is really only my second and last of the afternoon. IMP with a mostly Virginia aro - Warped Scarecrow. Salmon and roasted potatoes in an hour or so and will then settle inside for some reading and Masterpiece Theater. It’s been a great Sunday so far!
Nearing the half way mark on this bowl of year 2020 Peter Heinrichs Golden Sliced in a pre-1940s straight smooth brown Sutliff St. James (Comoy’s) spiral billiard with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Lavazza Classico, neat, is my drink.
Good evening all. Had visitors with small kids for a couple days, so no smoke. They have traveled on now. Settling back with Trout stream in a cob. Ahhh. That's better.
Close to finishing off this Dunhill Ready Rubbed. Smoking a bowl from a Morgason Rhodesian this evening, accompanied by some espresso on the front porch. Fall is officially here
Since the Yankees and Astros are in a rain delay, I took the opportunity to do a second set of walking reps, and smoke a bowl of year 2016 D&R Two Timer Gold in a 1982 smooth straight Sasieni Ivory 105 Apple with a black vulcanite stem.
Part way through this bowl of SWRA in a straight, black sandblasted undated Comoy’s Sunrise Etched Grain straight apple 551 with a black vulcanite saddle stem.
1/2 Bowl of Old Toby in a Barontini 1/2 Spigot bent billiard; then alter this evening, 1/2 bowl of Lane 1-Q in a Vauen Olaf bent egg. Nice end of the day.
