Hawks are still $&%! on offense so I’m recording the rest of the game and unwinding on the deck with my pups. Moved 20 wheelbarrows of rock this morning, fertilized then let the sprinklers water my humble 1/2 acre and called it good to watch the game. Giving the IMP another little workout with some 2012 GL Pease Navigator. Seems “richer” than the Christmas Cheer I sampled yesterday.

I bought, was gifted and smoked a lot of good pipe tobacco recently. Time to go back to the roots for a while.
I ground up some Oriental in one of those little "herb" grinders, enjoying a wee smoke of it with my cob while listening to Ennio Morricone's soundtrack to A Few Dollars More.

Did a set of walking reps, and smoked a bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in an undated straight brush etched black Molina apple with a nickel band and a black tapered vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. It's time for lunch!

I think my buddy, John, and I are going to do a vertical of Seattle Pipe Club Plum Pudding. I’m starting with the regular version in an Altinok Meerschaum Rhodesian; John is smoking a Missouri Meerschaum Mark Twain Cob.
Let my daughter pick my pipe and what tobacco. She chose my 1961 Dunhill shell briar and Sutliff 1M Vanilla.
Been hard to find time for pipes this Fall. But I’m having a day to myself so I’m filling the Pete House pipe with C&D Super Balkan. I have a handful of tins I should be trying but I’m probably gun shy until I feel like I’ll be able to smoke at least a few times a week.
