So, worked remote today with intentions for breakfast pipe and all - but, work.

But my reward was sitting by the door when two packages arrived. A couple new pipes and some baccy. Never had the KBV experience before, so picked up a couple that were available. Trying The Patience of Dr. Silence now (interesting blend) and the other will be for later. More on pipes when I take one for its inaugural run.

Whole leaf blend. A nice powerhouse blend of stoved red Virginia, kentucky and perique. Pressed and cut to flake. A cool smoking blend, spicy at first but melds into a creamy and earthy smoke for the second half.

50% stoved red virginia
30% kentucky
20% perique

in a stubby(replacement stem) vauen luxus billiard.

Opening day on Saturday - just ready to go relax in the garage and take a little inventory to be sure me and the dog have everything we need and it is somewhat organized. @WalrusMustache Nice pipe - I've never actually seen a clay pipe with a regular stem. Is it a Markus Fohr pipe?
