Relaxing after a wonderful salad, perch and sugar snap peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I've about a third of a bowl left of Watch City Rouxgaroux in a late 50s, early 60s Comoy’s straight smooth dark brown Deluxe 20 billiard with a silver cap military mount and a black vulcanite tapered stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. I knew Fried wasn't sharp in the first inning, and the Astros made him pay for bad pitches in the second with five runs.

I’m sure people ask you these questions all of the time and maybe it’s common knowledge or there is a thread somewhere on the topic - but, how much pipe tobacco do you smoke in a day? And, do you live in some tropical island in the South Pacific? You start smoking toward the end of a day EST and when I get up you’re still nailing the pipe!

Truly an inspiration to have the ability to even smoke that many bowls in a day and still taste anything. Or, maybe you can’t taste anything and writing helps you reminisce about the taste of delicious things like apples and peaches? I kid - if I tried to have that many bowls I’d be licking ice cubes begging for relief!

You’re gifted, sir. I’m just curious where your bourbon reviews are? I’m having trouble finding Bergs in my local store. I’m leery cause it’s always with water, but I’m willing to give it a shot. ?

Thanks for the kind words, man. I live in North Carolina, but I don't sleep a lot, so I have plenty of time to smoke. I smoke around 15-18 bowls a day, depending on what's going on in my life. I avoid palate fatigue by drinking a lot of water, and eating fruit. Switching from genre to genre also helps keeps my palate refreshed.

I'm really not a drinker, so there's no bourbon reviews. My occasionally trusty Saint Bernard paw delivers the floaty widdle icebergs when he's sober.

Amazing. And you live in such a tobacco friendly state. NC/SC is one of my favorite areas to visit. Wife’s family in the region. I can feel the moon shine, so in my mind…Actually proposed to my wife down there. More than 20 years later, I blame the Carolinas.

Thanks for sharing your celebration of the pipe/tobacco world with so many. We all get something a little different, but your reviews just seem to touch on points everyone can relate to or discover, even if not all, so it’s very well done.. Good stuff. ?

Enjoyed a tasty peach, and am a third of the way through this bowl of Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation Evening Flake in a straight smooth brown 1950s Comoy’s Tradition 305 apple military mount with a sterling silver cap and a black tapered vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
