Amazing. And you live in such a tobacco friendly state. NC/SC is one of my favorite areas to visit. Wife’s family in the region. I can feel the moon shine, so in my mind…Actually proposed to my wife down there. More than 20 years later, I blame the Carolinas.

Thanks for sharing your celebration of the pipe/tobacco world with so many. We all get something a little different, but your reviews just seem to touch on points everyone can relate to or discover, even if not all, so it’s very well done.. Good stuff. ?
I thank you again for the kind words. I try to make my reviews as helpful to the novice as to the veteran as much as possible. That's why I detail the aspects of individual tobaccos, and then give the reader an overall idea of what flavors they will notice the most. It may seem redundant, but it's a method that I felt was important to relate so there would be no guessing about anything.

It’s perfect.

Enjoyed a tasty Jazz apple, and am smoking KBV The Awe Das City in a 1979 smooth straight dark brown Loewe Army 910 billiard with a silver cap military mount and a tapered black vulcanite stem. I wonder why none of the local stores have golden delicious apples. They have plenty of every other kind.

Since I used military mount pipes for my last five smokes, I'm continuing the theme: several years old Dunhill Elizabethan in a smooth medium bend straight grain 2001 Karl Erik Ekstravagant brandy with a leaf engraved silver band and a black acrylic saddle stem.

What ya got there in the plug Brother...
Description of the tobacco:

"A base blend of Red Mottled Virginia and Carolina Leaf, to which small amounts of Turkish Havana and medium-strength Kentucky are added to achieve a balanced effect
effect. Everything is blended and stored for a few days to be fully intregrated. Then this mixture is divided into 10 pound pieces and cold pressed for several weeks. During this process, harmonization is naturally obtained and a very slow burning flake is produced. Color: light brown, medium strong."

Tastes great!

Not far from finishing this bowl of Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a 2019 black rusticated Peterson 312 full bend billiard with a military mount and a nickel cap with a cumberland 4AB stem and a N.A.P. bit. This will end my smoking day.

It’s 2010 Gawith Hoggarth Dark Flake unscented in a Caminetto Business shape 137. I haven’t been on all week, as my cat and best pal of 12.5 yrs Watson passed last Friday at the age of 16. It has been a rough week, and our house feels empty without him. He was a big fan of coming out on the deck with me while I had a pipe or cigar! Miss him terribly!
