Nearing the half way mark on this bowl of year 2014 HU Sunset in a straight 1924 Dunhill’s “Shell Briar” patent pot 7 with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Waiting for the mailman to deliver a tin of the soon-to-be released C&D Caroina Red Flake with Perique. Watching Mad Dog Russo.

PS Luxury Bullseye Flake in a Peterson Donegal bent briar Calabash, rusticated with a nickel band. I'm on my way to accompany my wife to get her flu shot, to assist her with mobility limitations. I had my flu shot at the doctor's office with an annual exam.

I hate to tell you this, but Ken Barnes passed away a few months ago. I don't know how many pipes he made before his passing, but I suspect they'll be hard to find. Maybe @sablebrush52 knows how many were made?
I have no idea, but I would imagine, given Covid disruption and his final illness, that it couldn't have been more than, and was probably considerably less than, 100.

Enjoyed a very tasty Italian lunch, and am not far from smoking C&D Carolina Red Flake with Perique 2021 in a 2003 brown medium bend Nording 4 rough top dublin sitter with a small rusticated area at the top left, fluted paneling on the left, and a black vulcanite stem.
